On the Top App Bar, click your avatar and then click Project home. Then, click Settings in the Navigation pane.
If a Paratext project or a Digital Bible Library resource was selected when the project was connected to Paratext, you see that project or resource in the Based on line. But now you can choose a different project or resource or choose a project or resource for the first time.
Click the Source text (optional) line and then click the project or resource you want as the basis of the translation suggestions.
If the Source text (optional) line shows a project or resource, you can select () Enable Translation Suggestions if you want to enable translation suggestions.
The project or resource is the source of the translation suggestions.
The books and their layout in the project you are translating must match the books in the Source text project or resource. To do this, in Paratext when you create a book in your project use the Create based on option. This option is in the Create Book(s) dialog box. You open it from the Project menu > Manage books > Create book(s).
When translating, you can use the button to swap the Based on project or resource and your project from one side of the window to another.
If you clear () Enable Translation Suggestions, the Suggestion Engine does not appear in Overview or the
(Configure translation suggestions) in books.
Sharing - If you select () Allow users to invite others to the project, the
(Share) button will appear in
Translate. This enables other users, in addition to Administrators, to use the Share with others dialog box.
Then, select () one of these options:
● Select Anyone with a link if you want allow anyone who has the project link URL to view the project.
● Select Email Invitations only if you want to only allow a person to view the project by responding to an emailed invitation.
Select () Enable Community Checking if you want to enable this tool. Then, optionally, you can select (
) any of these check boxes:
Allow checkers to see each other's answers - If selected, checkers will be able to see each other's questions and comments to interact with each other.
Sharing - If you select () Allow users to invite others to the project, the
(Share) button will appear in
Community Checking. This enables other users, in addition to Administrators, to use the Share with others dialog box.
Exporting Answers - Select () one of the options to set which of the answers are exported when the projected is synced with Paratext.
Answers marked for export is the default selection. Answers that are marked are available for export to Paratext.
All answers allows the responses to appear in Paratext as notes, and does not require each answer to be manually marked for export.
No answers prevents the export of all answers, which prevents clutter in Paratext.
If you want users to be able to invite others people who are not Paratext users, select () one or more of these of these options:
Allow users of Translate to invite others.
Allow users of Community Translate to invite others.
The invited people will receive the same role as the person who invited them.
